About

OBJ is a series of heterogeneous objects, born over the years while working on other typologies or as autonomous entities, developed indipendently and in limited editions.
OBJ is composed by open concepts, experimental structures and materials research rather than defined products.
OBJ is designed and produced by From outer Space.

From outer Space is a transdisciplinary design and research practice led by Anna Paola Buonanno and Piergiorgio Italiano, geared to exploring economic, social and environmental dynamics through spatial design. Research into exhibition possibilities is at the heart of the theoretical and professional work of the studio, which has recently curated exhibition projects for Salone del Mobile.Milano, Dropcity and Marséll Paradise.

From outer Space won First Prize in the international ReCall competition, and has exhibited its own work at the WUHO Gallery (Los Angeles), Felleshus (Berlin), M4gastatelier (Amsterdam), Falstadsenteret (Ekne, Norway), Camp Design Gallery, DOCVA/Viafarini, Peep-Hole, Subalterno1, Supersalone (Milan) and Fahrenheit39 (Ravenna). The studio has also collaborated with Bulthaup Italia, Icon Panorama, IFI Spa, Leroy Merlin, Mousse Publishing and Milan Polytechnic University, amongst others.
